"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Thanks for my dev goes mac theme for deviantART. It's nice to get such a feedback on a work I've done. Sorry for the case that some buttons look buggy to you . . . to this time I can't fix it and it seems like I wont' be able to do it for the next year . . . no Firefox would support what I would have to do, so . . .
